The one thing you would expect to find in Key West, is a proper cafe where you can sit down, have a quality cup of coffee, and enjoy a good book. Up until recently that was not the case, until Funky Rooster opened its doors! My wife and I passed by the shop after a date night and we were simply amazed! The music was relaxing, the furniture and lighting is welcoming and detail oriented, and the coffee & tea? AMAZING! They have their very own blend of beans and they use great tea brewing techniques to deliver an incredible balance of flavor, body, and aroma. I absolutely encourage everyone to come visit them and enjoy a beautiful afternoon with them.

The Funky Rooster is an awesome place to grab a coffee in the morning to start your day and a glass or three of wine at other times! The front porch is a great place to watch the world walk by. They aren't surrounded by a bunch of other businesses so you can easily enjoy conversations with friends. The owners are super personable and each of the employees is professional and friendly. This is a great place for locals! Make sure and join their loyalty program and also check out the random selection of chicken themed items and art available for purchase.... great opportunity to support a local small business and buy some fun gifts to send to friends and family up north!

Lovely place to stop for coffee and a pastry. The White Rooster coffee was mine and my husbands favorite but our son loved the iced coffee. Really nice gift shop and a pleasant place to just relax and take in the island atmosphere.
